This is an NGC graded 1955 Doubled Die Obverse. It has original reddish brown color. It was graded AU Details because it was lightly whizzed. I could not tell it was altered. It is a great coin. I collected coins for 20 years and was very meticulous. It was just graded in April 2021. Check out the pictures and make up your own mind.
